Celebrity (game) - Celebrity (also known as Celebrities) is a party game where several teams play against each other to guess as many celebrity names as possible before time runs out. The game takes place in three of rounds of increasing difficulty.
Australian place names changed from German names - During the Great War, many Germanic place names in Australia were changed. The new names were often Anglicized (Peterborough), given aboriginal names (Kobandilla, Karawirra), names of famous people (Kitchener), or battlefields (Verdun, The Somme).
Baseball (video game) - A number of video game menufacturers referred to their games simply as "Baseball" in the period from 1978 to 1990. Starting in the 1980s, baseball video games often had celebrity names or other identifying titles included with them.
Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names - The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (ACAN or US-ACAN) is an advisory committee of the United States Board on Geographic Names responsible for recommending names for features in Antarctica. The United States does not recognise territorial boundaries within Antarctica, so ACAN will assign names to features anywhere within the continent, in consultation with other national nomenclatural bodies where appropriate.
