Shared memory - In computer hardware, shared memory refers to a (typically) large block of random access memory that can be accessed by several different central processing units (CPUs) in a multiple-processor computer system. The issue with shared memory systems is that the many CPUs need fast access to memory and will likely cache memory.
AMD K9 - The AMD K9 generation of CPUs was the codename used to refer to dual core K8 processors. However, AMD has since decided to stop referring to upcoming CPUs by K numbers.
List of CPU sockets - There are many different types of CPU socket, used by different CPUs. The list of all sockets is sorted by date (most recent to oldest), the lists of sockets with Intel/AMD CPUs are sorted by name.
Dell OptiPlex - The OptiPlexTM line of desktops from Dell is targeted at the corporate, government and education markets. These systems typically contain Pentium CPUs from Intel, although some models are available with Celeron CPUs as well.
